Terms of use
Last updated 19 October 2026
OpenMe lets you make online greeting cards that you send as a link. By paying for a card you agree to these terms.
Your edit link
- There is no account. Your edit link is the key to your card: anyone who has it can edit the card, so keep it private.
- If you lose it, request a new one by email using the address you paid with. The old link stops working.
What you put in a card
- The messages, photos and music in your card are yours. You must have the right to use the photos and music you upload.
- Do not use a card for anything illegal, threatening, deceptive or abusive. We may suspend cards that break these rules without a refund.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in Lao kip. You pay once per card by QR code. Prices may change, but paid cards keep the price you paid.
- Your card goes live as soon as we receive the payment. If someone took your link name first, we choose a close name and tell you by email.
How long a card lasts
- Basic cards stay open for 180 days from the day they go live. We email you 14 days and 3 days before they expire.
- Pro cards do not expire for as long as OpenMe operates.
- An expired card shows an "expired" page, and its photos and music are deleted 30 days after it expires.
Editing
- After paying you can still edit the content until 7 days after the recipient first opens the card. The recipient name and link name cannot change.
- Unpaid cards that are not edited for 30 days are deleted with their files. If we have your email, we warn you 7 days before.
Limits of our responsibility
- We work to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be down for a while.
- We may update these terms and will show the date of the last update on this page.
